Curt Parkins
Attorney
Curt Parkins was born and raised in NEPA, where he attended North Pocono High School, graduating in the top ten students in his class. From there, he went to Boston, where he graduated with honors from Boston University, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Attorney Parkins then received his Juris Doctorate from Temple University Beasley School of Law. While at Temple, Attorney Parkins was a consistent presence on the Dean’s List and focused in criminal defense and trial advocacy.
Curt has been admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar since April 2011. He focuses his practice on criminal defense, personal injury litigation, family law, and immigration law. He also practices municipal law and has been the Solicitor for Spring Brook Township since January 2013.
During the past decade, he has handled hundreds of criminal matters, and he has litigated over twenty criminal jury trials, including multiple homicide cases. Attorney Parkins is an aggressive and vigorous defender with the expertise and tenacity to produce results in all criminal matters.
Curt prides himself on giving back to the community. He donates a countless amount of time each year to coaching North Pocono High School’s Mock Trial Team.
In 2016, 2017, and 2018, Curt was nominated for and accepted through peer review as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in the area of Criminal Defense. Attorney Parkins is the only Super Lawyer in the field of criminal defense in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area.
